World expert in engineered geothermal systems (EGS). He developed the open-source Geothermal Design Tool (GeoDT) whilst at Los Alamos and pioneered “fracture-caging” — a method to design and optimize EGS reservoirs by controlling hydraulic stimulation, maximizing heat extraction while reducing seismic risk. Under his leadership, GTW is advancing next-generation geothermal projects that unlock deep hot rock resources previously too challenging for conventional geothermal.
